Ombre.
Iron draws the line.
Light continues it.
A line takes shape in sheet metal and reappears in its shadow.
Explore the work↓One design.
Two presences.
Sheet iron is laser-cut. Lines open, cross and let the gaze pass through. On the terrace, light repeats the design on the stone: the railing enters the space through its shadow, too.
Indoors and outdoors. A project by Simone Scapini. The line,
beyond the iron.
Two views of the work: its pattern cast onto the ground and the sheet metal profile against the sky.

A second drawing.
Light passes through the railing and lays its lines across the stone terrace.

Laser cutting defines the motif in the sheet metal. Up close, the line meets the sky.

to curve.
The design runs through the material. Workshop photographs show the shaped sheet metal, the curve and the work on each piece: a journey that takes the line from a flat surface into space.

One line, many spaces.
