An unexpected gesture.
Vertical and horizontal elements meet in a sequence of folds. The regular fence gains depth at its joints; the rust-coloured finish echoes the stone and garden.
Designed by Massimiliano Botteroand Simone Scapini.
It is at the joint
that everything changes.
The finished detail and the work in progress tell the same story: bending iron to create a meeting point.

Bending to embrace.
The vertical band moves out of its plane and wraps around the horizontal element. The joint introduces a fine shadow and a change in depth.

Before the finish.
On the bench, the iron surfaces, working marks and joining points remain visible. The weave takes shape before the colour is applied.
